Reponsabilities

  • Processing of tax compliance files (individuals, corporations, trusts)
  • Legal and tax planning and reorganizations
  • Management of tax audits, customs audits, NSIF audits
  • Team management
  • Client portfolio construction and management
  • Facilitation of internal and external training in legal and tax matters

    • Quaifications

  • Hold, at least, a Master's degree (GCE A LEVEL + 5) in taxation
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have English as first language or, at least, be perfectly bilingual (English and French), both oral and written

    • Professional experience

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in tax and legal professions
  • Specific experience in transactional matters (M&A, due diligence, etc.) would add significant value

    • Technical skills

  • In-depth knowledge of general taxation and international taxation
  • Very good understanding of complex tax concepts
  • Solid knowledge in business law, civil law, etc.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • High level of synthesis and analysis
  • Ability to manage complex and/or multi-jurisdictional assignments
  • Broad knowledge base
  • Mastery of computer tools
